This is my own kitchen and the decision making process took a long time – because I am not an easy client to work with! – changing my mind on more than one occasion. I totally understand that some clients take longer than others to make decisions . It is a big investment!!
I kept the layout basically the same to avoid moving plumbing and electrical and because it suited the size of the space and the corner window. I wanted to get rid of my corner pantry and have a feature tiled back wall. I teamed the feature tiles with soft grey grout and used glass as the splashback behind the sink, for practical reasons and so it did not draw attention away from my tiled wall.
The velvety grey cabinets and toe space contrast with the white base units to create a timeless scheme. The addition of the warm wood accented panelling on the back of the breakfast bar and the open shelves matches perfectly with my planked vinyl flooring.
LED strip lighting under the wall units adds a layer of soft ambient light that casts a soft glow onto the “Gracious White” engineered stone benchtop from UniQuartz
Clients are welcome to view my kitchen to help make design decisions.
